According to the dangerous source of vinyl chloride production unit, combined with the actual production of vinyl chloride, using the improved analytic hierarchy process, the factors affecting the safety of vinyl chloride production unit (personnel quality, equipment and facilities, comprehensive management, working environment and fire protection) were analyzed, the weight of each factor was determined, and the main influencing factors are personnel quality, followed by comprehensive management. The application results show that the method is simple and feasible, and has very good practicality.
