Based on oil leakage of MG250 / 600WD electric traction shearer rocker, oiling to coal cutter continuously was required and if necessary, rocker and rocker arm shaft were needed to change, which affected productivity of mine shearer. In order to solve oil leakage of oil seal and improve production efficiency and economic benefit, fault analysis, precautions of changing underground rocker floating seal and several measures of improving oil leakage of floating seal were concluded in this paper , the improved effect is good.
