Based on practical production of Dongpang Mine Jizhong Energy Group Corporation Ltd., effectiveness evaluation and comparison of high resolution 3D seismic exploration and its importance and necessity in geological security assurance, mining design and structural prediction were analyzed. The practice showed that with the technology, comprehensive supplement exploration was proceeded in new mining area, main structural form was controlled accurately and good exploration effects was achieved, which effectively guided and ensured safety and production.
