In order to reduce lightning accidents in power system and improve the reliability of mine power supply system, PSCAD software was used to simulate modeling, the influence of different installation of 110 kV “上” shape tower line lightning arrester to lightning resistance level, flashover of insulator string, lightning impulse through voltage in wire and other lightning resistance effects was studied. Based on simulation result and economic practicality, line lightning arrester with high cost and large work, two-phase line lightning arrester was suggested in 110 kV “上” shape tower line to improve the lighting resistance effect.
