Spontaneous combustion of coal is one of the major hazard installations in coal mines. Programmed heating experiment was used in this paper to measure the indicator gas in heating progress. Gas ratio method was used in order to eliminate the amount of wind and coal seam of CO. Finally the appropriate forecast spontaneous combustion indicators of Linnancang Mine was selected. It is determined that between 40℃and 70℃ using CO2/CO as the main predictive index, CO indicators as assistant index. At 70℃~100℃phase using CO2/CO indicators to predict and C2H4supplemented, C2H4 as auxiliary indicators; Above 100℃ using C2H4/C2H6 combined CO2/CO to predict. Field test showed that the prediction accuracy of this index system is more accurate than traditional CO, C2H4, C2H2 qualitative indicators.
