The membrane filtration concentrate from the advanced treatment system of coal chemical wastewater was treated by Fenton oxidation process. The effects of pH, Fe2+ and H2O2 dosage on the chromaticity and CODcr reduction were studied and the results were compared with that treated by common ozone oxidizing method. The optimum process parameters for Fenton oxidation process are determined as follows:pH=3.5, Fe2+ dosage is 20 mmol/L, and H2O2 dosage is 1.0 mL/100 mL. Under these conditions, CODcr removal rate can reach 67%, and the chromaticity is lower than 5. Comparing with ozone oxidizing method, the effects of Fenton oxidation process to membrane filtration concentrate are better. Combining with the advanced treatment system, it can achieve the goal of disposal and recycle of membrane filtration concentrate.
