Coal chemical industry wastewater contains lots of organics and toxic substance. This kind of high industrial wastewater is hard to be biodegraded due to its complex component and high pollution chroma. A small amount of toxic substance, chromaticity and COD still exceed the standard in coal chemical wastewater, after pretreated by regular method and biological treatment. Activated carbon adsorption method was used to dispose coal chemical wastewater. The results show that when the best dosage of activated carbon is 60 g/L, the adsorption saturation time is 2.9 h.
