Vitamin B12 production wastewater belongs to high CODCr, high ammonia nitrogen wastewater, but B/C value reached more than 0.4, and the inhibitory substances in raw materials are less,the biological sex is good, so it can be treated using biological technology.The adopted anaerobic technology could save running cost, produce methane, and increase benefits; UBF(Upflow Blanket Filter) is a new type anaerobic fluidized bed reactor, could be used to treat high concentration organic wastewater, which feasibility of treating Vitamin B12 production wastewater could be determined through the experiment,thereby providing the technical basis for the wastewater treatment. The experimental results showed that in the case of using flocculent sludge, Vitamin B12 production wastewater was treated by UBF technology, CODCr removal rate could be reached 85%,and the water volume load reached 5 kg/m3·d, so the technology is a feasible technique route.
