Coal was main energy in our country, played a momentum role in the economic development in our country, coal production safety was the key of the coal mine work. Gas explosion was serious coal mine production safety accidents, which brought great harm to safety of mine production and miners. In order to better control gas explosion accidents, fault tree analysis (FTA) was applied to analyze gas explosion, the minimum cut set and the size set in gas explosion were found out, based on this, the safe measures of the accident prevention and control were studied to make sure the mine production safety.
