The staggered hole layout and precise attitude adjustment inclined hole grouting treatment method based on conventional drilling rigs was proposed for the technical bottleneck of difficult drilling rig arrangement in the steep slope area of Fuxin open-pit mine in Northeast China during goaf treatment. Engineering practices showed that this method was adopted to realize targeted precise grouting under complex terrain. Verified through multi-dimensional tests including core sampling, imaging, strength and wave velocity detection, an average core recovery rate of 90% and an average uniaxial compressive strength exceeding 10 MPa of consolidated bodies in the inclined hole grouting zone were obtained, whose performance was equivalent to that of vertical hole technology. Slope deformation was kept stable after treatment. While guaranteeing treatment effects, obvious reduction of disturbances to construction sites and environments was achieved by this method, which was referenced for goaf treatment of mines under similar conditions.
