Abstract: Aiming at the deformation and failure of surrounding rock and roadway support of shallow buried thin bedrock mining roadway in Shengxin Coal Mine, taking 51204 return air roadway of Shengxin Coal Mine as the engineering background, FLAC3D numerical simulation software was used to establish the excavation model of the roadway. The plastic zone, displacement and stress distribution of the roadway after excavation were studied, and the countermeasures and principles of roadway surrounding rock control were expounded. On this basis, the combined support technology of ' rebar anchor + steel ladder beam + anchor cable + high strength concrete bottom laying ' is proposed in 51204 return airway, and the surface displacement of roadway is monitored. The field application results show that the convergence of surrounding rock tends to be stable after 28 days. The maximum deformation of surrounding rock of roadway roof, floor, left side and right side is 38 mm, 27 mm, 18 mm and 21 mm, respectively. The deformation is within the controllable range, and the effective control of surrounding rock of 51204 return airway is realized.
