The causes and effects of intermittent ventilation were analyzed in detail with the background of gas accumulation caused by intermittent ventilation in the process of mine ventilation system reversal. Through the analysis of gas content in 22602 working face and mining area, the area with the lowest gas concentration in the transition area was settled. Based on the continuous ventilation scheme, the reversal time was reduced to 1 min, and the fan operated stably during the reversal process, and the stability of the whole ventilation system was good, which effectively improved gas overrun during intermittent ventilation and provided a guarantee for safe production.
