KC-103S pre sulfurized sulfur tolerant shift catalyst has been being used in the methanol production of 1.8 million tons/a of China Coal Shaanxi Yulin Energy and Chemical Corporation Ltd., and its loading, heating, gas conduction and performance in the axial-radial furnace of methanol plant were summarized. The comprehensive application resuts show that the presulfurized sulfur tolerant shift catalyst has excellent comprehensive performance, convenient loading, aerobic loading, no need of sulfurization before use, shortened start-up time, and more safety and environmental protection.
