In order to continuously adapt to the requirements of coal production, large state-owned coal enterprises need to continuously innovate and upgrade, optimize system structure and update equipment. Lvjiatuo Branch of Kailuan Energy & Chemical Corporation Ltd. has a long service life of the old shaft hoisting system (developed in Poland in 1961), the main hoisting motor insulation was aging, roller with reduced strength, deformation, spindle fatigue damage, the braking system with major safety risks, key equipment and parts aging wear and tear, the original plant spare parts difficulties, continuous safety and stable operation risk increase, with high the accident rate and maintenance workload. These problems were analyzed and upgraded locally to make the whole lifting system stable and reliable in production.
