In order to study the stability of the empty roof area of the roadway in 20202 working face of Shenghui Mine, the rock beam model of the roof area was created, and the influencing factors of the roof stability were obtained through the model force analysis. The FLAC3D software was applied to create a roadway model, the changes of the roadway support stiffness and top plate support strength on the top plate stability were simulated and analyzed, which achieved a good control effect on the stability of the top plate.
