Study on inland area accelerated test method for high strength aluminum alloy

In order to establishthetest method for accelerated corrosion of high strength aluminum alloys in an inland area, 7B04-T6 aluminum alloys was used for laboratory accelerated corrosion test and atmospheric environment exposure corrosion test canwhile the fatigue propeties the tested were compaluated. Through the comparative the average corrosion rate test of the samples, the corrosion morphology observation and fatigue fracture characteristics ahalysis corrosion mechanism and fatigue lifewere tested and compared. The results show that: the corrosion mode of 7B04-T6 aluminum alloy that undergone accelerated corrosion in laboratory and exposure atmospheric environmental is same. The corrosion mechanism and fatigue damage characteristics had no different. So, the accelerated environmental spectra and test methods can be used as an accelerated test method for high strength aluminum alloy to simulation inland area climate damage. The accelerated multiple is 97.64.
