The start and stop of underground drainage equipment in many coal mines relied entirely on labor. Underground workers regularly checked the water level of the water accumulation area, and then judged whether to start drainage. In practice, with the large labor volume and complex control process, it was complex and could not cope with sudden water surge accidents, caused great safety hazards to the safe mining. In view of this situation, in order to improve the reliability of underground mine drainage system work, Liyazhuang Mine was taken as an example, a highly intelligent and automated coal mine underground water level monitoring system was proposed, which could continuously monitor the water level in the water accumulation area. At the same time, according to the change of water level, the start and stop of the drainage system were automatically controlled, which improved the safety and reliability of the underground drainage system.
