The Yanzishan Mine without a direct water supply source since the mine was built, the domestic water mainly depended on the self-provided wells in the Shilihe River and water from Meijiayao. In order to solve the contradiction between the increasing water consumption in the mining area and the increasing shortage of water resources, ensure the normal production and operation of coal mining enterprises, water search and water supply work was conducted near the No. 8 coal seam, and the confined water under the Yanzishan Mine was developed and used to improve the comprehensive benefits of coal mining enterprises and promote the sustainable development of mining areas.
