In view of the Gaohe coal mine large cross section of roadway surrounding rock broken difficult supporting problems, the features of mine geological data of surrounding rock deformation were analyzed, and combined with numerical simulation software FLAC3D, the different height of roadway, roadway surrounding rock deformation and failure mechanism of optimization scheme were put forward in the end. Basic control field application results showed that the deformation of surrounding rock, roof and floor of roadway of maximum subsidence was 74 mm, about two maximum nearer to 92 mm, 58 mm, drum amount at the bottom of the supporting effect was good.
