In the process of coal-to-ethylene glycol synthesis, there are many control factors during by CO carbonyl coupling into dimethyl oxalate. So it is necessary to study and explore its reaction mechanism and process. The reaction mechanism of CO carbonyl coupling into dimethyl oxalate was introduced and combining with the production practice experience, the influencing factors of the reaction process were analyzed, and the influence degree and control requirement of temperature, CO concentration, methyl nitrite ( MN ) concentration, impurity H2, NH3 and O2 on the production process were obtained, so that it can play a guide the production.
