The roadway passes through the mined out area, because the self carrying capacity of mined out area is poor, low strength of surrounding rock and so on, leading to poor roadway stability, and support difficulty. Taking the actual situation of the second mining area concentrated track through mined out area as the background in Erdu Coal businesses, using roadway support theory and rock pressure analysis, the support can be adjusted to a shrinkage of 29U type steel roof support in the mined out area, through the observation of the underground pressure in the middle section of the mined out section, which is known that the displacement of roof and floor is about 120 mm, the displacement of the two sides is about 95 mm, the displacement values are all within the safe allowable range of roadway deformation, the deformation of surrounding rock of mined out area is effectively controlled, the feasibility of the support scheme is proved, which provides reference support and technical support for the mined out area in the construction of the late roadway of the mine.
