Based on analysis of geological condition and location of 3707 coal caving face in a coal mine of Shanxi, hydrogeological conditions of direct and indirect aquifer in 3070 working face were studied, possibilities of water ponding in goaf, direct and indirect aquifer were analyzed. Finally, the waterproof measures adopted in the working face of roof coal were put forward, as well as safety technical measures of fault and pressure of the belt.
