In order to ensure safe mining in 1129 working face of Xingdong Mine, electrical prospecting was used including transient electromagnetic technique and electrical sounding technique, which delimitated two low resistivity anomaly areas. Based on drilling inspection, effluent water existed in two abnormal areas, which provided reliable evidence to water prevention and control measures and it made a difference in safety production in coal mine.
