Considering the different requirements on the ash melting point of liquid and solid slag boiler, using coal ash as independent variables, the ash melting point as the dependent variable model, through analyzing the influence factor by optimization formula of control variable method; in the same experimental data as the basis, using the regression analysis method to establish the mathematical model for predicting the ash melting point. The two formulas were compared with the classical formula by other coal sample. The results showed that the optimized formula got the best prediction effect. The error was 97.3% within 80℃, and the correlation coefficient is 0.95848. The mathematical model of grey fusion point is established by regression analysis. The coefficient of correlation is 0.86. The formula has a universal universality and accuracy in predicting the ash melting point.
