Study on transition connection of open-pit mine production capacity crossing the fault

Based on sharp descending of floor crossing fault in Shengli East No. 2 open mine, theory analysis combined with engineering example was adopted, equipment real rate and capacity of regression model was set up by collecting data on the site, the mining way of open mine was put forward, based on the minimum stripping ratio and towarding production carryon, the carryon plan and position crossing the fault was settled. The study result showed that combined step mining was adopted crossing F61 fault, the technology with small strip ratio in initial stage, lifting mining step side angle realized descending in advance and ensured the production succession, stabled the production strip ratio. As for advance strip mining, with large strip mining amount in the initial stage, affecting the economic effect, No. 4 coal seam taking large account, with poor coal quality. Therefore, the combined step mining was adopted in fault mining.
