The relationship between Datong coalfield Karst water system and Shoutou Quanyu has been controversial, this paper demonstrates the independence of Datong coalfield Karst water system by analyzing geological structure, isotopic characteristics and Karst water level, the system is independent in supplementing, running water and drainage, not included by Shentouquan region.
