Material toughness of pressure vessel is of great importance to its safe operation. The impact energy vessels of the material in the regulations and standards about the pressure vessels design, and the impact energy requirement of steel plates, forgings, steel pipe and fastener for pressure vessel pressure equipment, were summarized which have a certain guiding significance for the design of pressure vessels.
