With the increasing mining depth of mines, outburst mines with non-outburst coal seam changes into outburst coal seam, with frequent coal and gas outburst accident. Based on this problem, Wenhua Mine of Guizhou Province was taken as example, combined with the gas geology law features of the mine, the main reason of causing coal and gas outburst was analyzed, gas pressure and gas content of deep and not mining roadway were deduced by formula, the mining depth is larger than 243 m, area gas content larger than 8 m3/t is outburst danger area. The prediction method could facilitate the analysis of coal and gas outburst identification of deep coal seam, Infill drilling pressure, improve the accuracy of identification of coal and gas outburst; guide the precaution of outburst before mining, which exerts great significance of reducing disaster.
