Reasonable mountain village protection coal pillar in mine design can make sure the village and town safe, was one of the main problem mine design. Based on this problem, Heping Mine actual design condition was taken as an example, mountain village protection coal pillar stay method was introduced, the main deformation value of village after protection coal pillar stay was studied and checked. the result showed that village corresponding main deformation value of mined-out the nearest boundary from goaf was in permitted range, which ensured mine mining can be controlled within the scope of influence in villages. The technology provided guiding significance for similar mine coal pillar stay and surface deformation prediction.
