In view of slippery rope, slide and other accidents could happen in the coal mine vertical shaft hoisting system，Donghuantuo Mining Company of Kailuan Group has proposed and implemented a reformation of the anti-skid protection hoisting system in coal mine by-pits. ?The force-feeling manipulator catching cable anti-slip rope protection device has been using in the coal mine by-pits hoisting system.The working principle and characteristics of the protective device were analyzed，it was pointed out that since the device was put into operation, it could  adjust the maximum arrest force according to the actual load,so its non-slip effect was obvious, and it could ensure system security and reduce labor intensity and danger.
