In order to establish the determination method of furoic acid in sodium ascorbate by liquid chromatography,HPLC, UV detector,C18 column which temperature was 30 ℃, mobile phase with acetonitrile/ phosphate buffer solution were adopted. The detection limit, limit of quantitation, linearity,precision, stability of the detection method were investigated. The linear equation of the method was Y=51 403 X+2 142.9, , and the method had a good linear relationship (r = 0.999 9) during 0.5~10 μ g · mL-1.The results showed that this method was suitable for the determination of bran acid in the sodium ascorbate.
