Gasification section is the bibcock of ammonia synthesis plant,configuration and technical scheme of the section directly affects the subsequent section configuration. Shijiazhuang Baipo Zhengyuan has 18 sets of gas making furnaces, not only the quantity and specification are inconsistent, but also the type and quantity of equipments of subsequent sections are relatively complicated, so the enterprise is working in developing the synthetic ammonia plant to large-scale develop direction in order to save  investment, reduce production cost and improve economic benefit. Today，the coal gasification technologies are mature, in addition to the fixed bed furnace intermittent gasification process, there are the pulverized coal pressurized gasification furnace continuous pressing process and coal water slurry gasification pressing process and so on. The revamping of gas section in Shijiazhuang Baipo Zhengyuan was introduced.
