In the fermentation process of lincomycin from Streptomyces lincolnensis, it was found that the right amount of carbon and nitrogen source should be feeded to the fermentation broth in all the course for the stable supply and bacterial strain. For that, large amount of lincomycin synthase might be synthesized at the same time. The fermentation flow-feeding technique of lincomycin was studied in a 30 L bioreactor. It was found that feeding corn syrup 1%, high-temperature soybean meal 2%, gluten powder 2% and ( NH4)2SO4 0.2% from the second or the third day to the last day, the fermentation level was further improved by 37.6% in average,at the same time, the fermentation period was extended to 300 h. The results offered an important evidence for improving fermentation level, reducing production cost and improving production efficiency.
