| Research on control technology of mudstone roof surrounding rock in water-rich roadway |

Abstract In response to the characteristics of rich water, mudstone roof, weak surrounding rock, and severe deformation and damage in the centralized belt roadway of Wuyang Mine, the failure mechanism of mudstone roof and rich water roadway was systematically studied through on-site survey, numerical simulation, and on-site monitoring. The influencing factors of deformation and instability of water-rich roadway roof were summarized, and a comprehensive control technology of arranging drainage holes, high-strength anchor rods (cables) combined support, and grouting reinforcement was proposed to support the roadway, which was successfully applied in on-site engineering practice. The application results showed that after adopting the comprehensive control technology of surrounding rock, the weakening effect of water on the roof was reduced, the bearing capacity of the roof was improved, and effective control of the roof of the water rich roadway was achieved, ensuring its stability and safe use within its service life.
