Abstract In the process of establishing an independent ventilation system, the fifth mining area of Dashucun Mine encountered the problems of long renovation period and long ventilation route of the peripheral system, which affected the normal production connection of the mine in the next step. In view of this problem, the mine adjusted the production system of the adjacent fourth and fifth mining areas, introduced new equipment, solved the tight production connection caused by the mutual interference of the production systems of the fourth and fifth mining areas, realized the partition ventilation of the fourth and fifth mining areas, shortened the preparation period of the mining area connection, optimized the main transportation system of the fourth mining area, simplified the transportation link, improved the transportation efficiency of the fourth mining area, and provided guarantee for the mine production connection.
