Abstract As the main transportation equipment for transporting coal, the wire rope core belt conveyor is prone to run-off tear and steel core damage tear, which affects the normal production of the mine. The second-level strong belt in Guoerzhuang Mine has been used for a long time, and the interface has wire rope twitching, deviation and wear. The traditional belt replacement has a long time and a lot of labor, and there are safety hazards. Therefore, on the basis of field investigation, the method of underground vulcanization connection is adopted. Through the improvement of traction splint, fixed splint and rotating handwheel splint, the rapid replacement of wire rope core belt conveyor is realized, and good economic and social benefits are obtained, which provides experience reference for belt replacement under similar conditions.
