Abstract In order to maintain the stability of surrounding rock of roadway under small coal pillar gob-side entry driving and ensure safe production, grouting reinforcement measures were adopted for the transportation roadway of No.8114 Face in Baidong Mine. The drilling design, grouting material selection and overall grouting process flow in grouting reinforcement was emphatically analyzed. The monitoring results of the compacted ground of the roadway showed that compared with the roadway in the non-grouting area, the deformation rate of the roof and floor and the sinking rate of the upper and lower sides of the roadway in the grouting area were significantly reduced. The maximum deformation rate of the roof and floor of the roadway in the non-grouting area was 0.43 mm/d, while the roadway in the grouting area was 0.13 mm/d, and the grouting reinforcement effect was better.
