Abstract In order to solve the support problem of lower coal mining roadway in extremely close distance coal seam group, taking No. 3 coal seam of Gaojiazhuang Coal Mine of Shanxi Zhongyang Rongxin Coking Co., Ltd. as the research object, the support technology of lower coal roadway in extremely close distance coal seam group was studied. Through on-site observation and theoretical analysis, the composite support method was adopted in the lower coal mining roadway to control the surrounding rock pressure, effectively reduced the support cost, provided a strong guarantee for safe production work, and provided a reference for the mining support of extremely close coal seams under similar mine conditions.
