Abstract the primary task of underground mining operation is to do a good job of roadway surrounding rock support. Taking the excavation of 15112 transport roadway in Changgou Coal Mine as the research object, the weak links of geological structure are emphatically analyzed, and the combined support method of bolt net and I-steel frame shed is proposed. According to the construction site, the surrounding rock support scheme is formulated. Practice shows that the maximum deformations of roof and floor and roadway sides are 159.90 mm and 80.31 mm respectively after the combined support method is adopted in the surrounding rock, and the steel shelf has good appearance and no deformation. The supporting effect of surrounding rock is excellent, which ensures the safety of coal mine excavation.
