Abstract In order to prevent roof accidents in the process of withdrawal from the working face to the stop line and ensure the safety of production, according to the actual geological conditions of the working face, advance pre-grouting reinforcement was carried out on the roof crushing area near the stop line of No.7608 Caving Face in Wuyang Mine to ensure the stability of the roof of the withdrawal channel and the surrounding rock of the two sides. The industrial test showed that the roof and surrounding rock of the two sides of the withdrawal channel were effectively controlled, and there was no roof falling and rib spalling accident during the withdrawal of the working face. This technology maintained the stability of the roof and coal wall of the withdrawal channel of the support, and ensured the safe and rapid withdrawal of the support.
