Abstract The selection calculation of emulsion pumping station for traditional coal mining working face is usually based on the demand of support shifting and strength, while the required liquid flow in the pounding operation of gangue-filled working face is much more than the demand of bracket shifting and support. Therefore, in order to ensure the demand for liquid supply for the compaction operation of the new gangue-filled working face of the mine, the time required for repeated compaction cycles and the demand for liquid supply pressure and pump pressure of compaction jack and swing beam jack during the compaction operation were calculated, so that the emulsion pump station can be selected. Through the calculation of the selected equipment got new gangue filling work with good results, achieve the desired goal.
