Abstract Based on the problem that the bonding strength of the gel generated by cross-linking is decreased, when the silicate modified polyurethane reinforcement material is injected into the coal and rock mass, and the influences of the thickness control of the bonding sample, the surface treatment of the bonding sheet and the state of the bonding material on the bonding strength of the silicate modified polyurethane reinforcement material were studied. The experimental results show that the effect of using wire or small glass ball to control the thickness of bonding sample was the same, and the highest bonding strength could reach up to 4.6 MPa; when the copper sheet treated with nitric acid was used as the bonding sheet, the bonding strength could reach up to 4.97 MPa; and the highest bonding strength could reach up to 4.61 MPa within 40 s after the bonding reagent was mixed evenly.
