Abstract In order to solve the environmental pollution problems caused by low coal heat generation and gangue concomitant, and achieve coal gangue resource utilization, environmental protection and green sustainable development, this paper explores the influence of jigging beneficiation on coal slurry sorting and subsequent flotation, the carbon content of coal slurry flotation increases and sulfur content decreased significantly through jigging treatment, and the bed thickness and rising water volume that affect the jigging process were tested, and the light minerals obtained after jigging were flotation, and the grade and recovery of C and S after flotation were measured. The experimental results showed that the carbon and sulfur of the coal slurry treated by jigging were initially separated, and after adjusting the flotation conditions, the yield of light minerals flotation after jigging could reach 33.52%, with C grade of 21.15% and S grade of 4.5%.
