Abstract Blasting is a common method of rock breaking in engineering construction, which had the advantages of high efficiency and low cost, but based on its existence of large vibration, toxic gas and dangerous production and transportation process, and the conventional use of explosive blasting means of rock breaking in some special space, special conditions were quite limited, new rock breaking technology was exlplored to meet the construction of these specific conditions. With the development of science and technology, static blasting and other new non-blasting rock-breaking techniques were more and more widely used in mining, municipal, earth-moving and other engineering construction, and practice showed that these techniques had the advantages of high safety and good environmental protection, favored by people.
