Due to the harsh underground environment, the current control system of the mining machine in Wangpo Coal Industry can no longer meet the on-site mining needs of the equipment. The EBZ160 mining roadheader of this mine was taken as the object of analysis, the research of upgrading and renovating the remote control system of roadheader was carried out for the problems of the current control system, and the field application test was conducted. The results showed that the remote control system operated well and had comprehensive functions, realized remote operation and control of roadheader equipment and achieved the expected effect.
