In order to prevent the problem of gas overrun during the recovery mining of 18308 working face, the gas pre-draining, high-level drilling and upper corner intubation to control the gas in the coal seam was put forward.Specific design of the comprehensive extraction plan was made according to the specific conditions of the working surface. The results showed that after the comprehensive gas control measures on the working face, the average extraction rate of the working face reached 85.3%, and there was no gas over-limit phenomenon on the upper corner and the return air side, which provided guarantee for the safe and efficient mining of the working face.
