In order to effectively prevent the gas overrun of 3-802 mining face, through the specific analysis of the geological and gas occurrence conditions of the working face, the gas surface comprehensive treatment technology combining working face pre-extraction, coal seam pressure relief and high-level drilling was adopted for the working face, and each of the parameters was specifically designed. The results showed that the gas control measures taken on the working face, the gas concentration in the upper corner was 0.47% ~ 0.75%, and the gas concentration in the return airflow was 0.41% ~ 0.75%, which ensured the safe and efficient mining of the working face.
