Abstract In view of the complex geological condition of the support of the air return roadway of the left-wing southern part of the Mugua Mine, combined with the geological profile of the mine and the hydrogeological conditions, the existing shortages of the existing support forms were analyzed, and the form and parameter selection of the roadway support were used. In principle, the support parameters such as length, spacing, angle and prestress of the roadway bolt were selected, and the roadway support was optimized with the support parameters. The application results showed that the roadway deformation was within the allowable deformation range.
