Abstract Local ventilation is of great significance to safe mining, system failure caused by complex system and the poor working environment was analyzed. Fault types and causes of high voltage power supply, low voltage power supply, mechanical system was analyzed, risk calculation was conducted by FMEA, factors leading to local ventilation failure were mastered.
