Abstract Based on the severe deformation and bad support of No. 15coal seam air return roadway in Yuenan Mine, the disadvantages of the roadway was analyzed to set reasonable support form and parameters. The optimized support controlled the deformation of the roadway by observing mining pressure, with good support effect.
